Helping Your Child Relieve Start of School Stress

If your child is anything like the millions in existence, then the few weeks before the start of school can be a very stressful period in your kid's childhood.

And like all other children, there is no running from it.
There is anxiety over making new friends, fitting in groups, and the potential difficulty of a whole new year at school.

With the prospect of school looming ever closer, you can help make this a less stressful time for your beloved child with a few simple tips.
All parents have a magic about them that can only be truly felt by their children. The unconditional love all parents' show their child is sufficient to relieve any stress or worries they may have.

The best way to help your child cope with the stress is though affectionate interaction.
1. Do not simply dismiss their worries.

It may seem to you that going to school is a simple task but to them, it's a totally different story.

Start each and every day with a kiss and hugs. This will prompt your child to cheer up and release any worries they may have.3.

Read them a bedtime story before they go to sleep. This is a relaxing end to any stressful day the child may have had.4.
Go out and have fun together.
Go to the beach or a playground.

This will help take your child's mind off the prospect of a new school year.

Older children might be resistant to such close interaction. If so then find a way in which you can show your affection and they can feel comfortable. Have a friendly chat, play a game, go to the park.

6. Do what your child loves to do. Things such as sports, reading, drawing, etc are a great way to relieve stress if the child has a passion for them.

If you have the time, spend some quality time with your kid participating in what they love to do.

If you follow these simple tips, your child should be stress free come the first day of school and will have a great start to a whole new school year.
